SEO is evolving — and it’s not just about ranking anymore.

SEO is evolving — and it’s not just about ranking anymore.

We’re entering the age of GEO (Generative Engine Optimization) — optimizing your content not just for humans or Google, but for AI agents that read, summarize, and even act on your behalf.

I’ve started experimenting with this on my own portfolio site:

Here’s how I’m making it AI-readable and agent-ready:

1. AI Summary Page:

I created a dedicated /ai-summary page with bullet-point highlights of my background, role, skills, and contact info — designed to be easily extractable by ChatGPT, Perplexity or any other AI tools.

2. Schema Markup (JSON-LD):

I added Person schema to my site’s <head>, defining who I am, what I do, and where I’ve worked — so LLMs don’t have to guess.

3. Machine-friendly language:

Instead of long intros or fancy headlines, I included short, clear statements like:

“Sajin Philip is a design leader with 14+ years of experience in UX, service design, and AI-driven product strategy.”

4. Designed for AI agents:

In an agentic future, autonomous AIs might decide who to recommend, whose work to review, or which designer to shortlist.

If your site isn’t structured for that… it may not even be seen.

This isn’t about traffic anymore.

This is about visibility in AI-native ecosystems.

GEO + Agentic AI = A new kind of discoverability.

Curious — are you thinking about making your site “agent-ready”?
